As for your recommendation of importing, been there done that. The software is completely blocked off, when I try importing to an older version it gives me the compatibility error when using the version. I have tried to save as a lower version using my officer at home, but it only allows me to save in version and even more features are locked at that point and renders practically half of my database useless.
I think at this point you have 2 options: Restore a backup, assuming you have one Perform a Save As mdb and then upgrade it to a accdb and then add back any lost features.
